Impeachment is an often talked about topic to those opposed to the current sitting president of the United States. What roles do each of the houses of congress play in the impeachment process and has a president ever been truly impeached?
The House of Representatives must vote to impeach the President of the United States, if successful, the Senate will then hold a trial to decide. While two presidents - Andrew Johnson & Bill Clinton - have been voted to be impeached by the House of Representatives neither were impeached following a trial by the senate, meaning no United States President has ever been formally impeached.

With the threat of a popular mass mutiny lead by his top generals, Alexander agreed to leave India. Alexander never forgave his man, and believed to the day that he died that he could have conquered the world if this troops and generals had stayed by his side.
