Tutor profile: Marisa L.
Freelance writer, marketing & social media coordinator
Tutor Satisfaction Guarantee
As a journalist and writer, I enjoy delving into and learning about many topics and areas of interest, with a main focus on making it understandable to a varied audience. In tutoring, I feel this has been one of my biggest assets - not only can I help you to read and write at a higher level, but I can help you break down ideas and theories to help gain a better understanding of the topic as a whole.
I first realized I enjoyed helping others learn while working as a nanny in high school and college - helping my charges with their homework was a daily challenge, and I do have experience working with children with ADD. Since graduating and starting my career, I have volunteered as a tutor here and there with my friends' children.
