In two classes there are 30 students each, in one class there are 28 students and in the other class there are 22 students. There will also be 10 adults going to supervise the students. Each bus seats forty passengers. How many buses will they need for their field trip?

There are a total of 110 students plus the 10 adults equals 120 passengers. If the buses only seat 40 passengers they will need 3 buses because 120 divided by 40 equals 3.

The P wave is the fastest seismic waves and the first to be detected. Also the P wave moves in a back and forth motion. The S wave is a secondary wave that travels slower than the P wave and moves in side to side motion.
