I am the author of the novels In a Dream, I Dance by Myself, and I Collapse (Civil Coping Mechanisms, 2016) and A Child Is Being Killed (Aqueous Books, 2013). My fiction, poetry, and essays have been published in The Washington Post, Denver Quarterly, Huffington Post, The Rumpus, Entropy Magazine, Everyday Feminism, and elsewhere. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and a BA summa cum laude in Psychology.
I have acted as a teacher, tutor, facilitator, and counselor in various capacities over the years. In all of those capacities, I have worked successfully with individuals across a wide range of genders, races, cultures, nationalities, economic classes, and physical, psychological, and linguistic abilities.
