Segmentation allows you to easily target potential consumers and target them more effectively while staying within your marketing budget. Two ways to do this is segmenting them by demographics and psychographics. What is the difference between the two?
Demographic segmentation: defining audiences by factors such as their age, gender, marital status, income and etc. This tends to focus on external or physical factors. Psychographic segmentation: defining audiences by factors such as motivations, beliefs priorities and etc. This tends to focus on psychological factors.
