In the coming Fall, I will begin my masters in business administration at the Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2011 with a 3.94 GPA and a degree in Economics and Business Administration. I have over nine years of professional work experience in the banking industry, including direct management, commercial lending, and financial analysis. I plan to move into a management consulting role upon graduation.

Commercial lender for the Fredericksburg commercial team. Responsible for managing, servicing, and expanding business relationships within an existing loan portfolio of $95 million. Acts as the relationship manager for all clients in the portfolio as well as the leader for the commercial underwriting team, consisting of five employees. Evaluates and understands business financials and ratios in order to effectively underwrite loans and mitigate risk.

Branch manager for the Genito and Belt Boulevard branches, two of the most profitable branches in the central Virginia market. Responsible for overall balanced performance of the branches with an emphasis on consumer and small business lending, deposit acquisition, and non-interest income generation. Proactively initiate, develop, and manage long-term, profitable relationships with consumer and small business clients. Provide general supervision, coaching, and development of the twelve employees between the two branches.
