Hello! My name is John-Paul Mackey, but you can call me J.P. Starting in the fall of 2019, I will attend California State University, Monterey Bay and study music. Music is one of my greatest passions, but I also enjoy working with children and I hope to teach audio and media production to people of color and/or with disabilities.

I have had about two years of experience in tutoring kids of many grade levels at local after-school programs. I love sharing knowledge with the younger generation and refreshing my memory of topics I enjoyed in school. More often than not, I would demonstrate concepts to students, and I would occasionally collaborate with them on the first in a set of problems before allowing them to complete their assignments themselves.
