About Nicole

About Nicole
Hi there! I am a stay at home wife and mom after working in education as both a teacher and librarian for the past 10 years. I have taught junior high and high school English and Reading, and instructed on research techniques, Fair Use, and proper citations as a librarian. I love helping others and citing sources is a particular interest of mine. ****Due to my current working environment, I do ONLY chat assistance - no audio or video.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I spent 3 years in an advisory capacity at a major public university prior to beginning my K-12 teaching experience. I taught junior high English and Reading for grades 6-8 for 4 years, and then switched to a junior high/high school librarian position. After one year, I was moved to solely high school librarianship with the added duties of district librarian, which included strategic planning, teacher education, technology integration and more.
