Question:

What is the effect on reaction rate when temperature is increased?

Riley D.
Answer:

When the temperature is increased, the reaction rate will increase. This is due to the increased movement of molecules at higher temperatures. The increase in movement increases the rate of high energy collisions of molecules and thus increases their reaction rate.

Question:

What is classical conditioning?

Riley D.
Answer:

Classical conditioning is a learning process where an innate response to a stimulus becomes triggered by a new stimulus due to a learned association. Classical conditioning is also known as Pavlovian conditioning because Pavlov demonstrated classical conditioning in a famous study. Pavlov's study took a dog's innate response to salivate when given meat, and conditioned the dog to salivate when he heard a bell. Pavlov did this by ringing a bell every time before he gave the dog meat. Thus, the dog came to associate the bell with food and began to salivate at its sound.
