### Subject: Greek

Write the plural of the nouns below with the correct article as in the examples: 1) το παιδί----------------------------τα παιδιά 2) η γυναίκα-------------------------οι γυναίκες 3) το αγόρι---------------------------- 4) η τσάντα --------------------------

All nouns are classified according to grammatical gender (masculine, feminine, or neuter). First figure out the gender. For example nouns are preceded by an article. As a rule, definite articles always appear before a noun. masculine : ο feminine: η neuter: το Plural: masculine : οι feminine: οι neuter: τα Greek nouns change their endings according to gender, case, and number, while retaining the root of the noun unchanged. In that case the answer is: 3) το αγόρι---------------------------- τα αγόρια 4) η τσάντα ---------------------------οι τσάντες

### Subject: Microsoft Excel

Create a spreadsheet that takes as an input the first names of the following table and then returns back the salary of the person who's name was input. FirstName LastName Salary Nick Harris $65028 Christina Jones $54885 Vicky Cruise $69548

Open an excel file, then copy the table above and paste it into excel. Make sure, that each category falls into different column (For example: FirstName - column a, LastName - column b, Salary - column c), if they all fall into the same column, then use the text to column option. Text to column option : Select the table. Go to Data tab atop the ribbon. Then, Select Text to Columns. Ensure Delimited is selected and click Next. Clear each box in the delimiters section and instead choose space. Click Finish. Then, use for example Cell F1 for inputting the name of the person you are interested in checking the salary. Then use F2 as your output. In cell F2, you will use the VLOOKUP formula. Assuming that the table array with the data copied above is A1:C4 and you want to know Vicky's salary then: F1: Vicky F2: use the formula below The vlookup formula should be used as follow: =VLOOKUP(F1, A1:C4, 3,0) then the result should be $69548 what Vlookup formula does exactly? first is looking for the value you entered (in this case Vicky) into the table array (A1:C4) and then by giving the column index number (in this case 3 since salary is on the 3rd column) following by 0 (meaning you want exact match) it returns the number written for Vicky on the 3rd column.

### Subject: Physics

A hurricane travels from point A to B in 3 hours. Points A and B are 540 km apart. Calculate the average speed of the hurricane in meters per second.

First of all, I will familiarize the student with the SI units. Therefore, we will convert the hours into seconds and then the km into m. Step 1: Conversion of units From hours to minutes: 1 hour has 60 minutes => 3 hours multiplied by 60 = 180 minutes From minutes to seconds: 1 minute has 60 seconds => 180 minutes multiplied by 60 = 10800 seconds From km into m: 1 km equals to 1000 m => 540 km to m => 540 * 1000= 540000 m Step 2: Introduction of the variables used in speed formula what is average speed? Average speed (V) is the total distance (d) an object covered divided by the total time (t) taken Therefore, the formula for the average speed is V = d/t applying the already known t = 10800 seconds and d = 540000 m V = 540000/10800 = 50 m/s Answer: the average speed of the hurricane is 50 m/s.
