About Stephanie
Coming from a military family, I had aimed to follow the footsteps of my father and serve our nation. After a medical discharge from the USAF, I've been on the path of discovering what I truly wanted to do. I've been serving in different fields with different populations of children for the past four years gaining knowledge every step of the way. I've always loved working with kids and am excited to become an educator!
Teaching Experience
I was a youth counselor at a residential facility for teenage girls for two years, leading therapeutic group instruction and one-to-one tutoring for school homework. Afterward, I became a behavior technician at a center for autism, doing one-to-one instruction for children 12-17 with an ASD for a semester. I then moved and became a behavior technician at a different center for autism, working with children 14-17 with an ASD for a semester. Currently, I am an educational assistant in a middle school/high school classroom at a center for autism,
