Middle School Teacher for 5 Years
Hello, I am a new mom who has chosen to stay home, however, teaching is my passion and I miss it! I did teach 8th grade mathematics (CCSS8), Algebra 1, and small group math intervention for 5 years. I also have endorsements in ELA and Social Sciences. My main goal is not only to help you learn, but make sure you know why what you are learning is useful/how it relates to the real world.
From 2014-2019 I taught as an 8th grade mathematics teachers (CCSS8, Algebra 1, and RtI Tier II). I am a certified K-8 teacher and have middle school endorsements in: mathematics, ELA, and social sciences. Before taking on my own classroom, I student taught 5th grade. My student teaching took place from January 2014 to May 2014. During this experience I taught all subjects and had a six week full takeover of the classroom.
