Question:

What are the main arguments and major assumptions of Marxism and Feminism as critical theories?

Answer:

Marxism and Feminism are critical approaches that criticize the mainstream approaches and provide a different perspective. Both realism and liberalism are tautological --too focused on the idea of a self-regulating market. Marxism provides an outlook on capitalism as a mode of production and sees different roles for international organizations. While Feminism, focuses on how gender is impacted by international relations issues such as war and violence. Realism and Liberalism are seen as equally masculine on how it sees international relations by feminists.

Answer:

The provisions of the Virginia Plan were to establish a bicameral legislature. Hence, the states will be represented in the government based on population. Moreover, it called for a strong, national government made up of three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. One of the legislative chambers will have been voted by the people and they will select those who would represent the second chamber. Resulting in the legislative branch to elect the executive.
