Answer:

The best way to do so is to first speak with your professor regarding the topic. The following steps including conducting research on your own and taking notes on this research, brainstorming, outlining the paper, writing the paper bit by bit (not all in one day!), revising and editing the paper yourself, and then asking a peer and tutor to read over the paper and make comments on it.

Answer:

The best way to do so would be to begin preparing at least a week in advance, use the strategies which work best for you (making flashcards, creating handwritten or typed outlines, etc...), and making sure to get a good night's rest the night before the exam.

Question:

In terms of the assignment procedures of the participants, how do randomized experimental design, regression discontinuity design, & nonequivalent group design differ?

Answer:

Here is one difference between the three designs regarding assigned procedures. -Randomized experimental design- participants are randomly assigned; the variables don’t depend on any pretreatment variables -Regression discontinuity design- participants are assigned only based on the assignment variable; ex= federal financial aid-- if u qualify, you’ll get it and if you don’t qualify you don’t get it -Nonequivalent group design- participants are assigned in an unknown, & presumed to be nonrandom, process; ex= 4th grade students b/c they held them back based on a ton of diff variables & then examined their grades
