About Marisa
I am a current student at Claremont Mckenna College. In my free time, I engage in debate, improv, and teaching myself Bayesian statistics. Tutoring is something I got into voluntarily my freshman year of highschool, but in recent years I have used it as a means to pay for college (and in order to eat less ramen.)
Teaching Experience
For six years I have aided in communication with teachers about in-class progress, taught the curriculum to both groups and individuals, and helped with varying subjects such as Statistics, Calculus, Physics, Trigonometry, Algebra, Economics, Government, and History. Recently, I have been tutoring in the Sat and am proud to share I have seven students whose scores raised more than 200 points (on the 1600 scale)
