Answer:

Of course there is no exact answer! The main time periods (Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th century and 21st-century classical music) all have unique qualities that appeal to each of us. It may be the Gregorian Chant of the Medieval period, or the balance of the melody and harmony of Beethoven and Mozart in the Classical period. Whatever the answer, students should be able to describe why they are drawn to the period they have chosen.

Question:

Education in the classroom was developed to teach mass amounts of students in factories. Much has changed since the early days of lecture teaching. What are current educational trends and what style do you feel suits your personality best?

Answer:

S.T.E.M., S.T.E.A.M (my personal favorite), Twenty-first Century Teaching, Brain Based Learning, Project Based Learning, Center Based Learning, just to name a few. This is a question to expand the students knowledge of current trends through investigation and what they have to offer. Then find one that suits the personality of the instructor best.
