What is a literature review?
A literature review is a process where you gather materials/resources that will support your thesis or the question you need to answer. The literature review could include resources that you have chosen and NOT chosen to include in your assignment. For each resource consulted you will need to provide a short summary of the resource and why it does or does not help you to answer your question. Resources can range from reference resources such as encyclopedias, journal or magazine articles, websites (which you have evaluated as credible) and others. If your instructor has already provided you with a list of the types of resources they are expecting you to use, make sure that you are following their direction.

What resources do you recommend to help me understand why Viktor Frankenstein in Mary Shelley's novel "Frankenstein" could be seen as a tragic figure?
You might want to begin by looking at the circumstances which led him to create the "Creature." Grief is a powerful emotion that can affect us in a variety of ways. Resources that discuss the impact of grief, such s those published by the American Psychological Association would be great a place to start.

What is the difference between 2D and 3D objects?
2D objects have just two dimensions, represented by a flat shape such as a sheet of paper or shape (circle, triangle, or square) drawn on a piece of paper. For example, a photo is considered two-dimensional. 3D objects have three dimensions, whereby the length, height, and width or depth are visible. For example, a car has three dimensions; however if seen in a photograph or drawing, it is considered two-dimensional.
