Question:

Middle School Writing Prompt: Do you think it is more important to be healthy or to have lots of money? Write a paragraph stating your reasons.

Answer:

I think it is more important to be healthy, because as long as you are healthy, you can work to provide money for yourself and your family. If you have money, but you are unhealthy, you might be too sick to use your money. My uncle Carlos is an electrician and he has to climb ladders to do his job. He wouldn't be able to do this without his health. If you are healthy, you can also learn how to do jobs that pay more money. Uncle Carlos had to learn from others how to do his electrician work, and he would not have been able to do that without his health. Someone might say that he wouldn't have to work at all if he had a lot of money. I would say to them, "what good is money, if you are not healthy enough to enjoy it?"

Question:

How do I cite a website in my research paper bibliography?

Answer:

When citing electronic information, the citation format will depend on the citation style being used (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc). Here is an excellent web page with links to the most common styles. https://www.ipl.org/div/farq/netciteFARQ.html You may also wish to use a citation generator. A citation generator will create bibliographic and in-text citations for you, in the proper format. Question:

The ratio of two numbers is 7 to 1. The sum of the two numbers is 24. What are the two numbers?

Answer:

Let x be the first number. Let y be the second number. x/y = 7/1 x + y = 24 Using x / y = 7 / 1, we get x = 7y after doing cross multiplication. If x + y = 24 and x = 7y, then 7y + y = 24. 8y = 24 y = 3 x = 7y = 7 x 3 = 21 The two numbers are 21 and 3. 21 / 3 = 7 / 1, so the ratio is correct. And 21 + 3 = 24, so the sum is correct.
