Tutor profile: Redeem P.
Fine Arts and Art History Enthusiast
I am a multidisciplinary artist with a Florida teaching licensure in the arts. My main areas of focus are art history, painting, drawing, printmaking, and performance. My work has been shown at the Walker Arts Center, New Museum, Moma PS1, MOCA of Jacksonville, and Echo Park Film Center Film Center. I am equally passionate about art history, as it informs my work, and currently pursuing a teaching license in the Humanities.
I have been volunteering for the past four years at Girls Rock Camp. This is where I have done workshops on zine making, printmaking, and screen printing. In conjunction with my University I have also taught young children and families various printmaking techniques. I have also volunteered for the Kids Mural Project and other youth centered art events in my community.
