About Crystal
My name is Crystal Batlin and I am a high school Social Studies teacher! I specialize in all five Social Studies courses - World Geography, World History, US History, Government and Economics! I love history and finding ways to make it fun and interesting for students!
Teaching Experience
I am in my fifth year of teaching high school Social Studies. I oversee all five courses and also provide tutorials for US History in preparation for the state required test, STAAR. I have spent the last two summers tutoring ESL students in my district's migrant program for remediation for the US History STAAR test.

As a tutor for the Migrant Department, I held weekly tutorials throughout June for U.S. History STAAR remediation. I met with students Monday – Thursday for four hours in preparation for the July retake of the test. I am proud to say that all of the students I assisted for U. S. History passed the exam.
