Tutor profile: Megan H.
Vanderbilt Grad/High School Teacher
Hi! I am a lifelong learner who has a passion for teaching. I attended Vanderbilt University, Peabody College of Education. I graduated and tested top 10% of the nation for pedagogy. I received a masters degree in instructional technology from the University of Maryland. I was also accepted into the doctoral program for education leadership at Liberty University. I left teaching to pursue corporate training and development.
I started teaching in 2005 in LAUSD. I taught U.S. History at an inner city title 1 school later taken over by Green Dot Charters. I moved to Maryland and taught the remaining 8 years of my career at Clarksburg High School in MCPS. While at CHS, I taught U.S. History, NSL Government and Psychology. I was also the SGA sponsor, mentored the 2014 SMOB, and coached a division winning swim team at Seneca Valley.
