Question:

Can you describe a room in your house, in Italian, giving colours, sizes, shapes, positions of objects and other details of your own choice?

Marzia C.
Answer:

Infine, proprio all'angolo opposto, un televisore grigio e piuttosto pesante.

Question:

Here is a short passage taken from "L'Assommoir" de Zola, where you can see the attitude of the character Mes-Bottes towards the still, a tool used for distilling alcohol: «Mes-Bottes... avait un rire de poulie mal graissée, hochant la tête, les yeux attendris, fixés sur la machine à soûler. Tonnerre de Dieu! elle était bien gentille! Il y avait, dans ce gros bedon de cuivre, de quoi se tenir le gosier au frais pendant by it jours.» Can you express your opinion, in French, about the character, Mes-Bottes, and his attitude towards the still?

Marzia C.
Answer:

Answer:

"Apologise for". Ex.: Helen apologized for her bad behaviour. "Depend on". Ex. Mr. Wilson totally depends on her wife for his daily routine. "Complain about". Ex.: Before leaving the restaurant, the party complained about the bill.
