What is the connection between information literacy and digital citizenship?
Information literacy requires individuals to be able to identify a problem and find legitimate sources to solve that problem. Digital citizenship is about being able to use technology responsibly and safely. The two come together because when a person is information literate they are more likely to use technology responsibly and safely, such as not falling for intentionally misleading posts on social media or giving away personal information in phishing scams.
