As a current Westmont College student majoring in Psychology and Communication studies. The track I am heading in my college career is leading me to now apply for clinical and educational counseling graduate programs. I love working with children and I love helping equip them for all the ups and downs that life will throw at them, even in the simplest ways such as teaching them how to do a math problem.
I have a huge family with lots of kids who value and engage in all sorts of activities, ranging from photography, dance, basketball, cooking, and the like, so, I know how to have fun and appeal to the interest of others. In high school I was an Avid tutor, I would help younger students with any homework assignment ranging from English to science. While being an AVID tutor I also did virtual tutoring with elementary school kids as an elementary school in Santa Barbara. Besides Avid tutoring, I have also tutored kids in my local community.

Currently a Westmont College Career Intern, in their department of Career Development and Calling. I help students with determining what to major in, how to write resume and cover letters, how to discern where they are feeling like they are being called in life, and how to prepare for employer interviews. We give students practical and emotional guidance in determining and planning academic and career goals.
