I'm a third year Ph.D. student at UT-Austin, specializing in high-power ultrafast solid state laser design (yeah, that's a bit of a mouthful). Before I came to UT-Austin, I did string theory research at the University of New Hampshire. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, reading, playing video games, and spending time with my wife and dog.
I took part in the physics tutoring program as a member of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) at the University of New Hampshire, then coordinated the program for a year as Co-President of SPS. I then taught an introductory optics, electricity, and magnetism laboratory course for a year as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin.
