About Heather
Hi, I'm Heather! I'm a college senior who loves learning and teaching others! In my free time, you can always find me outside---running, biking, skiing, and dog walking are my favorites. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, I'm now living in St. Louis where I go to school. I have a younger sister who I've enjoyed tutoring all throughout high school, and her hearing loss has inspired me to pursue a career in audiology after graduation. In college, I'm studying psychology, speech & hearing sciences, and Spanish.
Teaching Experience
I have worked as a teacher's assistant in a school for the deaf, I've served as a peer tutor throughout high school, and I've lead numerous instructional activities during my two years as a camp counselor. I always learn the best when someone clearly explains things, can explain concepts in multiple ways, and provides extra resources, so that's what I hope to do as a tutor.
