Tutor profile: Lauren W.
Experienced World Language Teacher
Allow me to introduce myself! I'm Lauren Wood-Radcliffe, a certified teacher in three languages (French, Spanish, and Latin), and also a teacher of Italian. I studied these languages throughout high school and college, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in French Language & Culture with a minor in the Classics. I also earned a Masters degree in Secondary Education. I taught for 18 years in a high school, taking my students on trips out of the country when possible to experience the language and culture authentically. What fun those trips...
I have been teaching languages at the secondary level for over 20 years, which included 18 years full-time at a high school and several years as a permanent language sub. I also tutored students after school. Now that I have retired, I continue to tutor, mostly online.
