How do you structure your tutoring for the ACT (Science)? What did you receive on your ACT (Science) section of the ACT?
This test covers less concepts because it is more concerned with your logic skills. In order to study for this part of the test, we will take a preliminary practice test to gauge where your strength and weaknesses lie. From there, we will practice the difficult concepts, learn how to take the test in the given time constraint, and learn how to read the graphs, questions, and tables in the test. I scored a 34 on this part of the ACT test.
How do you structure your tutoring for the ACT (Math)? What experience do you have tutoring this subject? What did you receive on your ACT (Math) section of the ACT?
This part of the ACT is more complex given there are many more concepts to go cover in comparison to the other tests. I recommend having completed a high school Algebra and Geometry class before tutoring given the concepts covered in the classes are pertinent to the ACT test. We will cover the same types of questions that are covered in the test, and the best way to prepare for this section is through practice! This test is the hardest to cover given its lengthy question and answer process (It is the longest part of the test!), but I have helped many students review the required concepts and given them confidence to score what they needed to get into their desired colleges! I scored a 34 on the section of the ACT.
How do you structure your tutoring for the ACT (English)? What experience do you have tutoring this subject? What did you receive on your ACT (English) section of the ACT?
This is by far my favorite subject to tutor because I have found so many tips and tricks to complete this test with accuracy and efficiency! First, I will give you practice tests to evaluate where you are at in this section and how we move forward. From there, we will work on your weaknesses and perfect your strengths! I have taught this section to nearly 20 students all of whom have raised their ACT score in this section by a point and in some cases 5 points. I received a 35 in this section of the test.
