What is the difference between the verbs to be ("ser") and to be ("estar")?
The verb "ser" in Spanish is used specifically to denote something that is innate of the being and is generally permanent, i.e. it rarely changes; while the verb "estar" is used to refer states of the being and is generally temporal, i.e. it can change.
