What is resilience and why is it important?
Resilience is the individual's ability to "bounce back" or recover from a setback or difficult situation. Individuals who are slower to recover from shortcomings are prone to depression, anxiety, and rumination.

What is a Student's T-Test and when do I use it?
A student's T-test is a simple descriptive statistic (meaning it describes the data set or sample. Generalizations, inferences, and predictions can not be made). A T-test compares the means of TWO groups from the experiment. Generally, these will be the 1.) Control Group (nothing change) and the 2. Experimental or Independent Group (something changed/manipulated), however not always. Here is an example: A researcher is examing the sex differences in empathy between Men and Women. Men's overall empathy mean was 50 while Women's overall empathy score was 56. To determine if this is a meaningful and significant difference, a T-test must be done to determine if Women are statistically more empathetic than the men group.
