In my role, I led support groups as a trained facilitator, provided bilingual services to our Spanish-speaking families, and connected with organizations in the community with similar missions of helping those in need.

Depending on the age/developmental level, my skills instruction focused on: phonemic awareness, decoding, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, increased reading speed, and textbook studying techniques. The universal goal of the program was to develop stronger, more confident readers.
