Tutor profile: Virginia I.
Experienced Tutor and Ivy League Student
I'm from North Carolina, but I currently attend Columbia University. I love learning languages and reading literature of all kinds, so my Classics major is a perfect fit. I find the history of education in the Classical world particularly fascinating. I have experience tutoring in both the humanities and STEM subjects at many different levels. I look forward to meeting you!
My love of teaching began when I was a high school student tutoring reading at a local elementary school. Since then, I have also tutored students in math and science through a variety of programs. I love making my lessons engaging, rigorous, and tailored to the individual student's needs. If that sounds interesting to you, please reach out!
