Describe the differences in clinical manifestations of Right vs. Left sided Heart Failure.
Left-sided Heart Failure often manifests in the pulmonary circuit of patients and creates lung congestion. It is easy to remember that "Left = LUNG." Common signs and symptoms include cough, tachypnea, and abnormal breath sounds. Other manifestations are confusion, fatigue and cyanosis. Right-sided Heart Failure is often seen as systemic congestion. When thinking of right-sided Heart Failure, think of extra fluid in the entire body. This often presents as ascites, dependent edema, JVD, and enlarged liver/spleen.

Throughout U.S. history, film and music have often served as forms of propaganda during times of racial and political tensions. How did the film The Birth of a Nation contribute to the second wave of The Ku Klux Klan in the early 20th century?
The Birth of a Nation, directed by D. W. Griffith, is based on the book The Clansman which demonstrated white pride and the American South in the 19th century. This film was controversial at the time, and remains so today. Released in 1915, the film promoted ideas of the time such as the "savagery" of African Americans, and the "heroic actions" of the Ku Klux Klan. In February of 1915, The Birth of a Nation became the first movie to be shown at the White House, under president Woodrow Wilson, furthering the popularity of the film and its' ideals.

Describe an example in which Adolf Hitler mobilized the youth of Germany, therefore creating a generation of Nazis?
Adolf Hitler created multiple programs for the children of Germany, one being Hitler Youth, otherwise known as Hitlerjugend. Programs within the Hitler Youth were classified by gender and age. Beginning in the late 1920's, the children enrolled in the programs were taught the values of obedience, self-sacrifice, and nationalism. Many of these children grew up to become directly involved with Third Reich propaganda and/or the Nazi Party, and their beliefs in these ideals can be contributed back to their time in Hitler Youth.
