Tutor profile: Taylor D.
PhD Candidate at UCLA in Earth Science!
I am a geologist with experience in both private and academic settings. Currently, I am working towards my Ph.D. in Geology at UCLA focusing on windblown sediment on Earth and Mars. My research utilizes several applications: experimental work conducted in our lab group's wind tunnel, remote sensing, and extensive fieldwork campaigns. By implementing multiple lines of research, we can not only better understand processes limited to Earth, but also better assess Earth as an analog for other planetary bodies such as Mars.
I have taught extensively throughout my time as a graduate student (masters and PhD) totaling almost 7 years. Aside from teaching at the university level I have experience with K-12 students throughout my time visiting local schools for earth science demonstrations and lectures.
