About Abigail

About Abigail
I've been tutoring ever since I graduated from the University of Maryland. As I've tutored, I've expanded my subjects to everything I love and am passionate about. But, no matter the subject, I bring a few things to my students that they can count on: clear, consistent instruction, expert knowledge, and an obvious desire to help. When it comes to my students, I believe that their understanding is paramount, and I always do my best to ensure that, even when it requires a little creativity

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I began teaching SAT prep in 2013, after I graduated from the University of Maryland. Since then, I've tutored SAT prep, Reading Comprehension and Writing (elementary, middle, high school, and college level), German, Computer Science, and Study Skills at several well known tutoring companies, including Wyzant, Varsity Tutors, Smarthinking, and Pearson Education. I also work part time as a Lab Section Leader in the University of Arizona's computer science department.
