I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, three majors: History, General Music, and Latin. In the spring of 2017, I completed my Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Eastern Michigan University, where I also tutored beginning Latin students. Now, I am pursuing my Master of Arts degree in Conducting at the University of Iowa.
My teaching experiences comprise two areas - music and Latin. As the graduate assistant for the choral department at Eastern Michigan, I rehearsed the Men's and Women's choruses, guiding them through the technical aspects of the music, but also instructing them on the historically-informed performance practice of various genres of music. I also assisted in the teaching of conducting to vocal music education students. At Iowa, I routinely teach undergraduate choral students in the same manner.
I have also tutored Latin students, both privately...
