Question:

Q1) What are some of the common lists that can be used when designing a page? Q2) What is an image map? Q3) What is the use of Canvas element? Q4) Create a simple form to input your first name and last name.

Faheem A.
Answer:

Ans 1) You can insert any or a combination of the following list types: – ordered list – unordered list – definition list – the menu list – directory list Each of this list types makes use of a different tag set to compose Ans 2) Image map lets you link to many different web pages using a single image. You can define shapes in images that you want to make part of an image mapping. Ans 3) The canvas element helps to build charts, graphs, bypass Photoshop to create 2D images and place them directly into HTML5 code. Ans4) <form action="/action_page.php"> First name:<br> <input type="text" name="firstname" value="FirstName"><br> Last name:<br> <input type="text" name="lastname" value="LastName"><br><br> <input type="submit" value="Submit"> </form>

Question:

An Uber car is driving in a straight line.A geostationary satellite is tracking the movement of the Uber car.The satellite is at a height of 200miles above land.The angle of depression measured by the satellite changes from 30 degrees to 60 degrees.Calculate the distance traveled by the Uber. Calculate the cost of a ride if Uber charges $2 per mile.

Faheem A.
Answer:

1.)Let us consider a triangle ABC with vertex A as the satellite. Vertex B as the position of Uber when the angle of deviation is 30 degrees. Vertex C is the point on the ground which is directly beneath the satellite. Let us consider point D on side BC which is the position of the Uber when the angle of devotion is 60 degrees. Lets length BD be denoted by $$ x $$ and length DC be denoted by $$ d $$. We have to calculate the distance $$ x $$. 2.) In triangle ABC , Angle ABC is 30 degrees and BC is $$ x+d $$ $$\tan(ABC) = 200/BC $$ $$=> \tan(30) = 200/x+d$$ ---------------[A] 3.) In triangle ADC , Angle ADC is 60 degrees and DC is $$ d $$ $$ \tan(ADC) = 200/DC$$ $$ => \tan(60) = 200/d$$ --------[B] 4.) From [A] $$ x + d = 200/\tan(30)$$ $$=> x = 200/\tan(30) - d $$ 5.) From [B} - > $$ d = 200/\tan(60) $$ $$ => x = 200/\tan(30) - 200/\tan(60) $$ 6.) $$ \tan(30) = 0.577 and \tan(60) = 1.732 $$ 7.) $$ x = 200/0.577 - 200/1.732 $$ $$ x = 346.41 - 115.473 $$ $$ x = 230.9 miles $$ 8.) Cost of ride =$$ 230.9 * 2 = $461.8 $$

Question:

$$x + 1/16x = 1$$ then the value of $$ 64x^3 + 1/64x^3 $$

Faheem A.
Answer:

1.)Given : $$x + 1/(16x) = 1 $$ 2.) Multiplying by 4 on both sides $$=> 4x + 1/(4x) = 4 ------ [A] $$ 3.)Cubing Both Sides $$=> (4x + 1/(4x))^3=4^3 $$ 4.)Expanding Using Property $$ (a+b)^3 = a^3+b^3+3*a*b*(a+b)$$ $$=> (4x)^3 + (1/(4x))^3 + 3*4x*1/4x*(4x+1/4x) =4^3 $$ 5.)Since from $$ [A] => 4x + 1/(4x) = 4 $$ $$=> 64x^3 + 1/64x^3 + 3*4 = 64 $$ 6.) Solving $$=> 64x^3 + 1/64x^3 = 64-12$$ 7.) Final Answer $$=> 64x^3 + 1/64x^3 = 52$$
