I'm a biblical language nerd with a passion for communicating grammatical concepts in easy-to-understand language. I also love languages in general, including English, my native tongue. But my passions are Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Greek. I like to write as well during my spare time and am currently working on two separate novels.

2009 - 2012
self-employed, Biblical Languages Tutor
2015 - 2021
I began working as a biblical language private tutor (that is, a tutor specializing in Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Greek) when I returned to the States after receiving my Master's of Theological Studies in Biblical Languages with a Concentration in Hebrew at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. I've worked with a variety of students, one as old as 90 and others in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. I had younger students when I worked as a Teacher's Assistant for Regent College, most of them in their 20s and 30s (see the next entry in Work Experience).

In the fall of 2014, I worked as a TA for Dr. Gerry Schoberg, who was teaching a single-semester Language Perspectives course (an overview of the basics of Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Greek). During this time I answered students questions in satellite tutoring groups and via email...
Harvest House Publishers, Editor
2002 - 2012
I worked at Harvest House Publishers starting as an intern in the summer of 2002 between my sophomore and junior year of high school. I kept working there for subsequent summers (and then sometimes part-time during the fall and winter during college) until I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon in 2008. I then worked a fully year at Harvest House as an editor from 2008-2009, completing several editing projects for them. I then left for Regent College in Vancouver, BC to pursue an MTS (Master's of Theological Studies)
