I am a First Year Writing instructor pursuing my English MA. I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Cultural Studies, where I blended Language Arts and Gender Studies, where I also minored in Science Fiction and Gender Studies. My focus for my MA is pedagogical uses of young adult literature in the classroom, with special interest in the trend of science fiction dystopias.
