I'm a Troy, NY-based freelance writer and editor. After getting a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Africana & Latino Studies at SUNY Oneonta, I applied to the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, getting her Master's in Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism. Now that I'm officially done with my formal education, I'm living and working full-time at a health food cafe (Liza's) in Troy.
I have experience working with students ranging from 4th grade to the graduate level. During my senior year of high school at Tri-Valley Central School in Grahamsville, NY, I worked as a teaching assistant for one of the 4th-grade teachers, Mrs. Ross. After I finished my masters, I worked as an instructional assistant for the incoming class of students in my previous program. I've also edited, reviewed, and formatted academic papers, cover letters, and resumes for friends and fellow students.
