Subject: Professional Development

TutorMe
Question:

Two questions that are frequently asked in an interview are: What are some of your strengths? What are some of your weaknesses?

Answer:

Strengths should be the things that you are most proud of (i.e. reliability/attendance, efficiency, hard work ethic). Weaknesses are harder to answer, but I always recommend people be honest (i.e. if one of your weaknesses is that you tend to doubt yourself in certain instances, I would suggest following it up immediately with how you overcome that weakness. In this example you could state that you take extra notes or make sure to ask clarifying questions).

Question:

What is the difference between MLA and APA?

Inactive
Kaley M.
Answer:

MLA is more for literature, arts, and humanities. It helps you to break down citing books and other works/types of art. APA is designed for more technical works found in the social sciences. This format makes citing journals and other sources that much easier.
