How do you study?
I typically study for any upcoming test throughout the entire unit. I use to highlight and note cards as a means for hitting all of the important topics. I go through the book and highlight the pieces that I feel is important, as well as make notecards of important vocabulary. I then go through and reread each of those pieces to begin quizzing myself on what I should know.
What does a developmentally appropriate early childhood education classroom look like?
This classroom is set up to be a student-centered, play-based classroom with the children in mind. A developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom has many different pieces of work around the classroom. All of these have a meaning behind them and are incorporated into the students learning. The items on the walls are made by the students and the whole class. This helps to build a sense of community within the classroom. This classroom offers opportunities to use play as a learning method with different activities to get students using hands-on techniques to practice the concepts that they are learning in class.
What educational theory shows students what to do and how to do it?
