What is a cytoskeleton? What are its main components in animal cells?
The cytoskeleton is the cytoplasmic structure that supports the cell, maintains its shape and holds or moves cell organelles. It is made of an extensive network of fibers dispersed in the cytoplasm and anchored in the plasma membrane. Its components are microtubules, microfilaments and intermediate filaments.

Show using the correct chemical reactions how increased levels of carbon dioxide can cause a pH decrease within the worlds oceans?
The pH decrease within the worlds oceans is called ocean acidification. CO(2) + H(2)O -->H(2)CO(3) This is more commonly known as carbonic acid and breaks down to increase acidity. H(2)CO(3) --> HCO(3)(-) + H(+) The positive hydrogen atom decreases the pH. This happens once more. HCO(3)(-) --> CO(3)(-2) + H(+) Ocean acidification is a growing problem, in the last 100 years the pH has decreased by 0.1 due to the logarithmic behavior of the pH scale this is indicative of a 30% acidity increase.

Geochronology is the science of what? What are the real life applications of geochronology?
Geochronology is the science of dating minerals, rocks and even landforms. There are many dating methods used such as radiometric dating, ice cores and luminescence dating. Geochronology has many uses within Earth sciences, such as; looking at sand migration, archaeology and creating timelines of events (incremental dating).
