I have an associate's degree in general studies and bachelor's of science in wildlife ecology and graduated with honors for both. I also have federal and state government experience monitoring listed species and managing habitat, invasive species, and game species.
I have been an informal and formal tutor for years helping with anything from elementary math and spelling to collegiate business, science, and writing courses.

I am currently a natural resource/wildlife technician with the US Forest Service. My main duties involve surveying for owl species such as the spotted owl, but I also work on a variety of other projects (e.g. snail DNA research and western pond turtle surveys/camera trapping).

2016 - 2017
I completed a research project studying avian vocal complexity and was provided with a stipend through an undergraduate research program. I completed the research project and am currently working on publishing my findings.
