Subject: Writing

Question:

I'm so confused with APA formatting. How do you cite something in your paper?

Inactive
Annika Q.
Answer:

Great question! To cite a source in your paper, you'll provide the last name of the author or authors (if only two). If there are more than two authors, you will cite the the last name of the first author that appears on the article, and then "et al." after that. You'll then provide the date the article was published. If you're citing a direct quote, you'll need the page number as well. For example, the citation might look like this: (Finley et al., 2021, p. 205).

Question:

I have a such a hard time knowing how to study for tests. My friends all like to study together, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Answer:

That's a great question! Not everyone learns the same way. For example, studying alone or with someone I don't know actually helps me more than studying with a group of friends. Otherwise I get too distracted. Would you like me to share some of my favorite study tactics? They've really helped me learn class material well.

Yes, they do! They are Christians. They believe that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three distinct beings.
