Explain an Aristotelian or classical argument and why one would choose this style of argument.
Since the goal is to convince the audience of a specific position, appealing to their intellect, compassion while maintaining credibility is key. A well structured and researched argument including a clear thesis statement, researched facts on the subject, the alternative side’s points, and a solid conclusion is required.

Describe in a full paragraph the dynamics of the opening of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, 1st movement using Italian music terms from Unit 1.
Beethoven’s 5th Symphony 1st movement opens with a bold fortissimo statement of the iconic four-note motive; short-short-short-long. This same motive is immediately restated forte further underscoring its significance. The four-note motive is then bounced around the orchestra starting at a piano dynamic but rapidly rising with a crescendo to forte once again. Beethoven’s use of dynamics is a signature element to all of his music.
