Questions

Subject: Spanish

TutorMe
Question:

( People usually say Spanish is a beautiful language. When it is heard, it sounds soft and clear. Therefore and beyond the Hispanic influence in the world, people want to learn it for its beauty. Do you agree with this statement?)

Answer:

Indudablemente. (Undoubtedly. When any language is spoken, it determines the brain and the culture. In that way, Spanish is more than a beautiful sound. It transmits the happiness of the people who spoke, their history, their life struggles and their wishes. Maybe, that is the reason why people love Spanish and the culture that it represents.

Subject: Political Science

Question:

How would you describe the Political Science object of study?

Answer:

I think that is one of the most controversial questions in Political Science. Depending on the person who asks and their context, there will be multiple answers. If you talk, for example, with the continental tradition, the answer could be the power. If you speak to the North American tradition, the solution can be the State. If you talk in Latin American experience, the answer can be close to a constitutionalism approach. In that why when my students used to ask me, what is the political science object of study, I used to answer them.... what is your positionality and what literature have you checked. With that in mind, we can have a good debate about it.

Answer:

Even though its young development compared to other disciplines and human sciences, Anthropology is essential because it contributes to our understanding of human beings everywhere and every time. Its different fields and subfields ( Bio-Anthropology, Socio-Cultural Anthropology, Linguistics, etc.) provide specific knowledge about humans and their relation with the environment. In other words, it shows our place in the biological world and tries to answer what makes us humans.
