What are some key pointers to list on your resume as a new college graduate?
Most college students have very limited professional experience; however, there are a lot of skills that can be considered transferrable. Let's review any volunteer work, organizational involvement and pull from there to begin creating the resume. We definitely want to highlight your educational background as that will be the main focus in obtaining a position.
What is the best way to begin writing?
First, let's start with a brainstorming chart. If the topic has already been provided, we can now build from there. Let's think of focal areas including who we are talking about, and create sub-topics for that, then we will move what we are talking about.
What are some key student-based theories to assist with working with college students?
One key factor in working with collegiate students is understanding the process of forming identity during their college years. Chickering's theory of Identity/Student development includes seven vectors that theorize what students while developing their identity, I would suggest utilizing this theory to help with your question.
