How do you cite a an article in APA format? For this example assume it's a full stand alone article and not an excerpt from a serialized magazine.
We begin the author's last name and first initial. Next we put the year the article was published, in parentheses. After this we put the full title, including any subtitles. We then write the place of the publication and the name of the publisher. EX: Doe, J. (2007). APA: How to Cite a Source. Portland, Or: Doe Publishing.
Subject: Film and Theater
Film: Explain the difference between a pan and a tracking shot. Theater: Explain the difference between upstage, downstage, stage left, and stage right.
Film: A panning shot is when the camera remains in one spot, and rotates horizontally. A tracking shot is when the camera moves on a set of tracks. Theater: Upstage means farther back on the stage, towards the back wall, while downstage means up close to the audience. Stage left and stage right are relative to the actor. If the script says "enter stage right", the actor would enter on the right side facing the audience and from the audience's perspective will be on the left.
What are the differences between a verb and an adverb? Please use examples.
A verb is a word that describe an action. An adverb is a word that describes the action. EX, for the sentence "Steve ran quickly down the hall", ran would be a verb, and quickly would be an adverb.
