Tutor profile: Patricia S.
University research scientist with science, math, coding expertise
I'm a research scientist at the University of Michigan. My research is in nuclear engineering, but my experience spans numerous fields including physics, chemistry, math, coding, and data analysis. My favorite thing about tutoring is working with a student from the very basic concepts and building a foundation. This will set you- the student- up to be independent moving forward. I love teaching and working with students and I look forward to working with you!
I started teaching in high school with some neighborhood tutoring jobs. As an undergraduate student I taught nuclear engineering basics to middle school students through the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program. I've taught several university-level courses, and I mentor students one on one in their research projects.
